Practical Tips and Advice Regarding Business Succession Planning for Family Owned Businesses

Please join us for an engaging panel discussion regarding some of the issues and challenges that owners of family businesses face in planning to successfully transition the business from one generation to the next. We will have perspectives on this topic from:

• Pam Butterfield, a business consultant at Business Success Tools, LLC, who has provided advice to many family business owners who want to transition from one generation to the next;

• Bob Zelinger, a corporate attorney at Hinckley Allen, who prepares succession plans for and gives advice to family owned businesses; and

• Capri Frank, a family business owner who is the third generation in her family owned businesses – Oma’s Pride and Miller Foods in Avon.

EBPC member, Ed Pratesi, CPA/ABV, ASA, CM&AA, CVA, the Managing Director of UHY Advisors N.E., LLC, whose area of specialization is in private company valuation and strategic consulting services, will be the moderator for this discussion.
